Throughout my nearly 10 years in accounting, I’ve thrived on variety – moving seamlessly between industries, ERP systems, and financial challenges. Whether I’m building executive dashboards, managing month-end close for a public company, or implementing process improvements, I bring both technical precision and strategic thinking to every role.

Beyond my technical capabilities, I am known for my collaborative approach, problem-solving mindset, and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. I believe in building strong relationships grounded in accuracy, transparency, and clear communication.

I hold a Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Before joining the Ascent CFO Solutions team, I accumulated diverse experience across multiple industries, including healthcare, government, nonprofit, construction, and hospitality. This varied background has given me the adaptability to quickly understand different business models and the technical depth to handle everything from purchase accounting to advanced financial modeling.

When I’m not working with numbers, you’ll likely find me outdoors with my husband and our golden retriever, Maverick. We love camping and exploring Colorado’s beautiful landscapes. I’m an avid downhill skier and enjoy the challenge of running half-marathons. At home, we keep chickens, which adds a fun and rewarding element to our daily routine!

I am a dedicated and detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for numbers and a knack for problem-solving. With 9+ years of experience in the field, I have developed a strong understanding of financial principles and possess a keen eye for accuracy. My expertise extends across a wide range of accounting areas, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, audit, and day-to-day operation.

Beyond my professional achievements, I am known for my friendly demeanor, approachability, and ability to work well under pressure. I believe in fostering strong client relationships built on trust, integrity, and open communication.

I hold a Master’s degree in accounting from American Public University, and I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing professional development. In my spare time, I enjoy ultra running, spending time outdoors, and being the best mom I can be.

Before joining the Ascent CFO Solutions team, I accumulated 6+ years of accounting experience focused on supporting small businesses in my community. As a result, my time has been spent in multiple industries including manufacturing, advertising, and non-profit. This path has enabled me to grow beyond traditional accounting and gain experience in finance, giving me an elevated understanding of the importance of high-quality accounting work.

My family’s passion for entrepreneurship inspired me to obtain my BS in Accounting from Metro State University, where I graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors.

When I’m not in the office, I will likely be found spending time with my young daughter and husband (or doing laundry). We love camping and all things outdoors. As a third-generation Coloradan, I enjoy just about every sport this state has to offer, and I even lived in Breckenridge for four years where I could take advantage of it all!
